An idea that came to life through the flow of meaning. As a skilled Product Designer and outdoor enthusiast, I couldn’t overlook the harm that surfboards are causing to humans and nature. The piece of material under our feet that should connect us the most with ourselves and nature is actually making it suffer. It is contradictory.

Building a surfboard remains a very manual craft process, which includes many unique steps that are difficult to automate. In most surfboard factories, people are working every day, sacrificing their health for your happiness. I wish everyone knew what it looks like behind the curtains. The white surfboards you buy are coming at a cost, and I wanted to change that once and for all.

Our world is full of innovations and new possibilities, more than ever before. If we combine our knowledge, old and new, we are able to save what we are about to lose, our environment and our health.

Let’s make change together and give ourselves another chance.

Nature is us, it’s what we breathe, feel, see, and live from. Without it, we wouldn’t be here.
